Chicago winter photo

Today is a “snow” day for my kids, though it’s not because of snow, it’s because of the cold. It’s currently -4 degrees outside so I’m more than happy to stay inside all day. Brrr! When I was a kid I had ONE day off because of the cold. My daughter has already had…I don’t know…I’ve lost count. Are our winters getting worse or is it my imagination?

Anyway, I thought it would be fun to share some old Chicago winter photographs. I love looking through old photographs, so I thought you might also enjoy this little trip down memory lane back before we had remote start on our cars and women wore skirts no matter the weather!

I hope you’re staying nice and warm in your neck of the woods. And if you’re in the midwest like me…it’s time to break out our space heaters!
